Meet RBenji

Meet up and coming artist RBenji also known as BigBenji from Houston, Texas.

RBenji first started making music when he turned 17 and bought his pair of KRKS speakers. He formed “Team Dynasty Music” with his friends, Angel K, and AD the Black Sheep. Together they had a vision that they would change the music industry.

Although he doesn’t confine himself to a specific genre of music, he wants to be among the great music artists in history. His favorite track he has release is his song called “Human” released on SoundCloud. He is most proud of it because he tried to go so out of his comfort zone to produce the best possible music.

His music is inspired by artists such as Bob Marley, DMX, Earth Wind and Fire, and his grandfather, DJ LingWing. RBenji grew up in Jamaica so Bob Marley’s music has always stuck with him. DMX taught him the importance of family over friends, and his grandfather showed him that music exists out of the genres of rap, and reggae. He was able to introduce RBenji to artists such as Earth Wind and Fire. All of these artists inspire RBenji to make his own unique sound.
